Coronavirus (Covid-19): Latest updates and information
Skip to main content Skip to navigation

Please note that University of Warwick is NOT located in the town of Warwick - it is on the outskirts of Coventry. It is also not the same as Coventry University (a separate university in the centre of Coventry).

There is only limited subsidised accomodation available on campus; if you have applied, you will hear by email (on 31st January) whether you have been successful.
If unsuccessful, we'll have offered you full price on-campus accommodation at £55 per night. You may be able to find cheaper accommodation off-campus - this is more likely if you can find someone to share a room with.

Details of on-campus accommodation and some guidance for finding off-campus accommodation is given below.

On-campus Accommodation

All on-campus accommodation is en-suite, includes breakfast, and comes with the following supplied:

Wired Internet Access (bring an ethernet cable if you wish to use this), Clock radio, Tea and coffee making facilities, Hairdryer, Towels and toiletries, Linen.

Check-in is from 3pm at Rootes Reception (ground floor of Rootes Building - dark blue marker on this map).
Check-out by 9.30am on your day of departure
Left luggage: There is a left luggage room at Rootes Reception. There will be no secure location to store luggage in the Mathematics department.
Breakfast is served in Rootes Restaurant, located on first floor of Rootes Building, dark blue marker on this map.

Off-campus Accommodation

1) Find a friend at Warwick to stay with!

2) Find a hotel/B&B room. This will be cheapest if you share a room.

If you make a booking via hotel search engine there is a possibility of obtaining a 10% rebate because we are a supported conference (see here for further details and instructions).
HotelsCombined searches for hotel prices and you then click through to a travel site (e.g., to make the actual booking.
(Please note that YRM accepts no responsibility for any failures of rebate payment. YRM is not receiving any commission for suggesting - we are suggesting it because it offers our delegates the possibility of a cheaper deal.)

Bus routes 12 and 801 serve the University and bus route 19 serves Cannon Park shopping centre, which is right next to campus.
Routes 19 and 801 are every 30 minutes. Route 12 is at least every 20 minutes and is the bus route most commonly used by students.
Bus fares are £1.60 (single fares only) and require exact change.
