Develops numerical methods and convergence theory for parabolic stochastic PDEs. He is particularly interested in models of excitable media and computing nucleation of waveforms using large scale optimisation techniques.

• Professor David Silvester & Dr Catherine Powell

Both work on fast solvers for linear systems arising in the stochastic finite element method, especially with applications to fluid flows in random media.

• Professor Tusheng Zhang

Existence and regularity of stochastic semi-flows of SPDEs; large deviations of SPDEs; anticipating SPDEs and SPDEs driven by Levy noise.
