PROGRAMME ( pdf file 108K)
This network is a joint initiative of the Universities of Bath, Bristol, Edinburgh and Warwick, funded by EPSRC since April 1, 2008. It is devoted to covering all mathematics-related aspects of molecular dynamics, and the full spectrum of scales, from electronic to atomistic, conformational, mesoscopic and macroscopic.
Invited speakers: Giovanni Ciccotti (Rome), Luigi Delle Site (MPI Mainz), Murthy Guddati (North Carolina State), Peter Haynes (Imperial), Oliver Junge (TU Munich), Ben Leimkuhler (Edinburgh), Paul Madden (Edinburgh)*, John Maddocks (Lausanne), Mark Rodger (Warwick)*, Adrian Sutton (Imperial), Art Voter (Los Alamos)*, Steve Wiggins (Bristol) (* = to be confirmed)
Besides the invited talks, focus will be on contributed talks by members of this new network.
Invited speakers and network members are asked to register at the following website: https://web.warwick.ac.uk/mrc/events.php
If you are not a network member but wish to attend, please contact gf@maths.warwick.ac.uk. Funding is available to attend the workshop, with preference given to graduate students and postdoctoral researchers.
For further information on the network, including how to join or how to join our mailinglist, see http://www.bath.ac.uk/math-sci/md-net/
