International Student Team Competition in Mathematics
2025
We consider the possibility of organising a team from Warwick at this year's ISTCiM competition (7-9 November 2025, online or in person) which is open to every student at any stage of the studies (undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate studies up to the third year). The department has kindly agreed to cover the travel expenses of the team.
A written selection exam (where no calculators, internet nor any notes are allowed) took place 3-6pm on 22 October 2025; here are the problems and sample solutions.

Other maths competitions open to university students
We do not organise any team for these competitions and you should make equiries/apply on your own in order to take part.
International Youth Math Challenge: in Round 1, you have to submit solutions online on their webside. The deadline in 2025 is 30 November.
Imperial-Cambridge Mathematics Competition: If you'd like to participate, please contact Warwick Maths Society: they have been organising Round 1 (which is on the second to last Sunday of November) at Warwick in the last couple of years.
Vojtech Jarnik Mathematical Competition: It is usually in April (in Czech Republic) and requies registration fee. Warwick does not currently offer any financial support for fees or travel to the competition.
