Material Interactions in a Fusion Environment

MIR@W 5th November 2025 Material Interactions in a Fusion Environment

Registration is now open for MIR@W on the 5th November at the University of Warwick at the Mathematical Sciences Institute

https://mrc.warwick.ac.uk/events.php

The theme for the upcoming MIR@W meeting hosted by the Mathematical Sciences Institute at Warwick is Material Interactions in a Fusion Environment

This meeting aims to bring together a diverse group of researchers from Physics, Engineering, WMG, and Mathematical Sciences to discuss aspects of material interactions in the context of nuclear fusion.

Topics include:
  • Plasma-material interactions
  • Radiation Interactions with materials
  • Hydrogen interactions with materials
  • Materials evolution under fusion conditions

The goal of this meeting is to bring together researchers working on fusion-relevant research to stimulate discussion and explore collaborative research routes on fusion power-related topics based at Warwick, with a view to establishing Warwick's role in the development of practical fusion power solutions.
