The Professional Support Services (PSS) Group were delighted with the turn out for the PSS Development and Networking event at the end of November with approximately 50 people in attendance.

Colleagues heard about the new Leadership and Management Framework and courses available for those at different stages of their leadership journeys. We also heard about the inspiring Women’s Development Programme 'Springboard' and attendees had the opportunity to talk with WMS alumni to find out more.

The coaching programme and new mentoring scheme were also outlined and colleagues encouraged to sign up if they were interested. We also had the opportunity to remind everyone that there is a WMS shadowing scheme for those who might want to find out more about other areas of the School to either help them with their current role or help prepare them for a change of position. This might involve working with colleagues in a different section or attending one of the School committees.
 
The PSS Team are planning to make meeting up as a community of professional support services staff a regular occasion to explore different areas of interest and will be planning further activity in 2024.
