How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Virtual Seminar - SLS/WMS Micro Seminar by Professor Cynthia Whitchurch, Quadram Institute, Norwich

To join the meeting, click the following link - if you don't have the Zoom software installed, you will be able to open this in a web browser and join the meeting that way.

https://zoom.us/j/931867892

Meeting ID: 931 867 892

To help the meeting run smoothly, please can we ask you to do the following:

      • Connect to the meeting at 10:55 in case any technical hiccups slow you down
      • Enter your real name as your screen name (to help with the Q&A)
      • Put your webcam on but mute your microphone (this should happen automatically when you join the room). Having the webcam on will make it much nicer for the presenter as she'll see the audience and your reactions!
      • If you have a question you would like to ask Cynthia, click the "chat" icon at the bottom of the Zoom window and type "Q" into the chat window. We will then be able to call on you to ask your question. (Don't forget to unmute your mic when asking a question).
      • If you are someone who is usually a little shy about asking questions in a seminar, feel free to type your question in full in the chat window and we can read it out for you.
