Professor Kate Seers achieves prestigious NIHR Senior Investigator Award
We are delighted to announce that Professor Kate Seers, Director of Warwick Research in Nursing, and Deputy Head of Warwick Applied Health (Research) at WMS has received a highly sought after NIHR Senior Investigator award
National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Senior Investigators are among the most prominent and prestigious researchers funded by the NIHR. They are considered the most outstanding leaders of people-based research within the NIHR research community.
Kate said “I’ve benefitted from being part of great teams in Warwick Research in Nursing, Warwick Medical School and the wider University. Our pioneering impactful research focuses very much on improving health care. We have made major contributions to developing patient and public involvement; patient, carer and Health Care Professionals’ experiences of care; health related outcomes; and implementing evidence into practice. Key aspects of our work include demonstrating outstanding leadership, supporting the next generation of researchers and promoting an excellent research culture.”
