Families for Health
A randomised controlled trial evaluating the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of ‘Families for Health’, a family-based childhood obesity treatment intervention.
‘Families for Health’ is a new group-based, fun programme designed to support families who have an overweight child aged between 6 to 11 years old. The 10 week 'Families for Health' programme is being compared to what is already being offered to assist families who are concerned about their child's weight within the areas of Coventry, Warwickshire and Wolverhampton. The research trial is running between January 2012-Decemeber 2014.
