Aisha qualified as a medical doctor and worked as a Pathologist and later as a Haematologist before pursuing ethics/bioethics. During her work as a Haematologist she taught undergraduate medical doctors and realized the importance of medical ethics as a discipline. Later she completed a Masters in Global Ethics from the Centre for the Study of Global Ethics, University of Birmingham and went on to do her D.Phil at the Ethox Centre, University of Oxford, funded by the Wellcome Trust. Teaching In addition to teaching /facilitating value, law and ethics at WMS, Aisha is a distance-learning tutor for 'Bioethics for beginners', Oxford University Department for Continuing Education, Studies in Philosophy: MT 2014-ongoing. Other activities ? Expert member of the Health Research Authority for Coventry and Warwickshire Research Ethics Committee. ? Reviewer for the Humanities and Social Science Research Ethics Committee , University of Birmingham. ? Visiting Fellow, University of Health Sciences, Pakistan ?
