Artificial Intelligence, Medicine and Ethics: What should the future hold for doctors and patients?
In August 2019 the Health Secretary announced that the NHS will be setting up a national AI lab – and investing £250m – to explore how best to use AI to enhance patient care and power research. But what does AI mean for the future of doctors and their patients?
University of Warwick Education Conference, still time to register
University of Warwick Education Conference - Tuesday 14th May. There is still time to register. The keynote Soren Bengsten from Aarhus University will be talking about the role of the University in a post-expert world, and the final plenary focuses internationalisation and the global curriculum bringing together two world-leading thinkers on internationalisation, Janette Ryan and David Killick and Anthony Manning - Dean of Internationalisation at the University of Kent. There are some exciting and varied parallel sessions focusing on work and research going on at Warwick. There are also some pre-conference workshops running on the afternoon of the 13 May, these are 3 hours long and focus on some key areas of practice: assessment, learning spaces; intercultural education(internationalisation) and anti-racist pedagogy.
