An unexpected outage has occurred. Moodle has been down since about 11:30 this morning.

Our Moodle hosting service provider, CoSector Digital has experienced power issues in their data centre. This is having an impact for Universities, Colleges and Schools accross the UK.

CoSector Digital are stating “Following an earlier power outage we are now in recovery and should return to normal service within the next few hours. Apologies for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience”

We therefore hope to see a resolution later this afternoon.

The Extended Classroom Forum is a collaborative space for colleagues across the institution who have an interest in the use of technology to support teaching and learning. The forum is touring around campus with the next forum taking place on Wednesday 14th March 1-4pm at Warwick Medical School.

Topics covered will include working with the new MyWarwick mobile app, creating interactive online content with H5P, Digital Wellbeing and using ResponseWare for course evaluation. There will also be an opportunity to experiment with technologies available in our seminar rooms and lecture theatres. Experts will be on hand to answer questions and discuss your ideas.

Our next MB ChB education conference, for everyone involved in medical student teaching, will be held on Friday 18^th May 2018 at Radcliffe, University of Warwick.
