The Patient Journey

This is a project co-designed during a design thinking workshop by patients, staff and students. Students follow a patient from home, to outpatients and back again. Student and patient interviews of their experiences will be analysed to see if this could become part of the curriculum to improve empathy.

Patient involvement in CBL

This IATL funded project is using Towle's levels of patient involvement to produce a range of case based learning cases using real patient cases. Several members of the group have been involved in talking about their experiences in the cases we have developed. The cases have all now been run with students and we are evaluating the impact.
