Timetable

The department believes that a well-structured timetable is an important component of its teaching provision. We therefore
  • Ensure that there are no clashes between any core or major optional components of any of the degree programmes.
  • Plan for student workloads which are evenly distributed throughout the first twenty weeks.
  • Plan for a reasonable spread of the load throughout the week.

When a problem occurs with the timetable, we will respond quickly and search for a satisfactory resolution. However, there may be minor inconveniences particularly where modules involve only a minority of students or unusual combinations of options.
