Right to work check for GTA rolesTime:11:00-12:30 (drop in session) Location: P5.65 (physics building, top floor) The GTA team will be carrying out right to work checks, if you have been allocated a GTA role it is important to attend. Meet with supervisor and Research groupOn Monday you will meet with your supervisor and members of your research group. Please email your supervisor directly to arrange a suitable time. |
Postgraduate InductionTime: 13:00-14:45pm Location: B2.02 13:00 Start and welcome from Director of Graduate Studies 13:05 Welcome from the Head of Department 13:10 PGSSLC 13:15 Talk from a current student 13:20 Outreach 13:30 Induction for PhD students by Director of Graduate Studies [no need for MSc students to attend] 14:00 Break 14:15 Induction for MSc by Research students by Director of Graduate Studies [no need for PhD students to attend] (Sandwich lunch will be provided, if you have any allergies please let us know by email: physicspg@warwick.ac.uk) This session is mandatory and will contain extremely important information for all Postgraduates, whether you are a previous Warwick student or if you are new to Warwick. The Director of Graduate Studies, Elizabeth Stanway will give a talk. There will also be other staff and students providing information about the Department and PG Study.
