Covid23
If you have symptoms of flu or covid, you should stay in your term-time accommodation until you have recovered and not come onto campus.
If you test positive for covid, NHS guidance is to stay at home for 5 days and avoid contact with people who may be at higher risk from covid for 10 days. Most people can no longer get lateral flow tests for free, but they can be purchased from chemists, supermarkets and online retailers.
Note that there is no requirement to report a positive covid case and no mechanism to formally do so, although it would help if you told your personal tutor and people you have been in close contact with. There is no requirement to self-isolate if you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive either at the University or at where you live.
