Full text: The Leverhulme Trust invites nominations for the Philip Leverhulme prizes. These recognise researchers in the early stages of their career whose work has had international impact and whose further research career is promising. The prizes may be used for any research purpose. The subject areas for this call are: •classics; •Earth sciences; •physics; •politics and international relations; •psychology; •visual and performing arts. Nominees must hold post in a UK HEI or research institution that would extend beyond the duration of the prize. They should normally have been awarded their doctoral degree no more than 10 years prior to the closing date for applications. Only individuals may be nominated. Nominations must be made by the nominee’s head of department, or equivalent, and up to three nominations may be submitted per institution in each subject area. Prizes are worth £100,000 each over two to three years.
