Liverpool telescope time – PATT and JMU time

Full text: The Science and Technology Facilities Council invites proposals for the panel for the allocation of telescope time (PATT) and John Moores University (JMU) research time at the Liverpool telescope. This enables researchers to access the Liverpool telescope, a 2.0-metre fully robotic facility sited at Observatorio del Roque de Los Muchachos, Canary Islands. The following instruments are available:•IO:O;•SPRAT;•RISE;•IO:I;•MOPTOP.PATT accepts proposals from PIs based in the UK, and JMU accepts proposals from PIs based at the Liverpool John Moores University.The allocation of observation time for PATT is 268 hours for priority A and B and 100 hours for priority C, and for JMU the time for observations is 257 hours for priority A and B and 100 hours for priority C.

UKRI Deadlines

Due to the implementation of a new UKRI funding system (TFS) there will be a fixed quarterly deadlines for some grants which would previously have been on open calls, this is to allow necessary system amendments and updates.
