Study abroad studentships
The Leverhulme Trust invites applications for its study abroad studentships. These enable students to undertake an extended period of advanced study or research at a centre of learning anywhere in the world except for the UK and USA. All subject areas may be considered, with the exception of studies of disease, illness and disabilities in humans or animals, or research that is intended to inform clinical practice or the development of medical applications. Applicants must have been resident in the UK for at least three years and hold an undergraduate degree or higher degree from a UK institution. Applicants may either be a student at the time of application or have been registered as a student within the last eight years. Studentships last between 12 and 24 months and include a maintenance allowance worth £21,000 a year each, travel costs, and a partner allowance worth £7,000 for those accompanied by a dependent partner. A total of 25 studentships are available each year.
