The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

International professorships - Leverhulme Trust deadline

Primary funder name: Leverhulme Trust

Closing date: 03 Jul 20

Full text: *** The closing date for this opportunity has been extended. The previous deadline of 19 June has been extended to 3 July 2020. All other call details remain unchanged. *** The Leverhulme Trust invites applications for its international professorships. These enable universities to recruit research leaders of any nationality, currently working outside the UK, in order to fill strategically important positions. The professorial candidates should conduct high-quality research, and by their appointment, also contribute significantly to the university’s strategic aims and objectives. This may be an appointment to consolidate or reshape an existing area or field of study or to allow the university to branch out into new areas or disciplines. Proposals are welcome in any research area, with the exception of applied medical research, policy-driven research to support immediate policy initiatives or areas currently identified as a priority by the research councils or other significant public funders. UK universities may apply. There are no restrictions on nationality of the professorial candidate but they must be working outside the UK at the time of application. Each institution is permitted to make one bid per round. Up to 10 grants, worth up to £5 million each over five years, are available to fund staff salaries and associated costs. At least 75 per cent of the requested funding must be used to cover salaries and up to 25 per cent to cover associated research costs. Items of equipment, worth up to £250,000, may be included in exceptional circumstances.
