How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Full text: *** This opportunity will be available soon. The next call is expected to open on 29 June and close 21 September 2020. The following information is subject to change. *** The Royal Academy of Engineering invites applications for its research fellowships and engineering for development research fellowships. These support early-career researchers in becoming future research leaders in engineering. The proposed research must be in an engineering subject area. In addition, engineering for development research fellowships support projects that aim to positively impact or contribute to the sustainable economic or social development or welfare of a country or countries on the development assistance committee list. Applications are open to early-career researchers worldwide whose PhD has been conditionally approved or who have been awarded their PhD in the last four years. There are no nationality restrictions, but posts must be held at UK HEIs in an engineering department and applicants must not hold a permanent academic position.

Fellowships are worth up to £500,000 each and are tenable for five years. The academy provides 80 per cent of the full economic costs of the research programme.
