Background and Purpose
This will be a public outreach event in Kenilworth, a town in the local community with a long association with the University. This event is aimed at an adult audience who would like to know more about issues in contemporary Physics & Astronomy and generally feel better engaged with their local University. While the department already makes a significant effort in its outreach activities to schools there is more that we could to to reach the adult majority of the population. There will be two 25 min talks on subjects benefitting from a high level of public interest, provisionally, neutrino physics and extra-solar planets.

The event will start at 19:00. A more detailed programme will be provided soon.
