Tales of Treatment highlight the benefits of grassroots public engagement for researchers

An approach to public engagement which respects grass-roots and community knowledge has an important role to play in improving our understanding of the relationship between traditional healing and Western-style medicine in low and middle-income countries, and could generate new approaches to tackling antimicrobial resistance, according to a new paper published in Medical Humanities.


National award for project to bring chemistry to life in schools

A project co-developed by a University of Warwick researcher that uses real-world research to bring chemistry to life for school students has been recognised with a national award from the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Primary pupils visit Warwick for a taste of university

A very special graduation took place on Friday thanks to the partnership between the University of Warwick and national education charity, IntoUniversity. The graduation ceremony, for Y6 pupils from Frederick Bird Primary School in Coventry, marked the end of a five-day programme designed to give the youngsters a taste of what higher education is all about.
