Safety Notes for users of the UK High-Field Solid-State NMR Facility
It is a condition of use of the UK High-Field Solid-State NMR facility that a sample safety information form for all samples being brought into the laboratory must be submitted at least one week before the allocated experimental time. You are also required to bring paper copies of the completed sample safety information forms with you.
COSHH assessments are mandatory for samples that are hazardous to health. This must be submitted along with the sample safety information form.
For each visit to the facility, users must also bring a signed copy of the safety declaration formLink opens in a new window.

In advance of the first visit to the facility, users must carefully read the NRF Health and Safety Document (Feb 2024)Link opens in a new window, as well as the Risk Assessment. Printed copies of the health and safety notes and of the general risk assessment for Millburn House can be found in a red folder in the chemistry lab (please ask the facility management team if you cannot locate it).
Please e-mail facility manager team d dot iuga at warwick dot ac dot uk in case you need to use the ultracentrifuge, fume hood, glove box or the oven since additional safety training it is required.
