Safety Notes for users of the UK High-Field Solid-State NMR Facility

It is a condition of use of the UK High-Field Solid-State NMR facility that a sample safety information form for all samples being brought into the laboratory must be submitted (by email to the facility management team d dot iuga at warwick dot ac dot uk or t dot franks at warwick dot ac dot uk) at least one week before the allocated experimental time. COSHH assessments are mandatory for samples that are hazardous to health. This must be submitted along with the sample safety information form. You are also required to bring paper copies of the completed sample safety information forms with you.

In advance of the first visit to the facility, users must carefully read the NRF Health and Safety Document (Feb 2024)Link opens in a new window, as well as the Risk Assessment. Printed copies of the health and safety notes and of the general risk assessment for Millburn House can be found in a red folder in the chemistry lab (please ask the facility management team if you cannot locate it).

For each visit to the facility, users must also bring a signed copy of the safety declaration formLink opens in a new window.
