About me :

I am a research student at Warwick working on the LHCb experiment at CERN.

I work on investigating the CP violation in B system by analysing the data from the experiment.

I am also responsible for the migration of Run3 stripping lines and also work as a Demonstrator for the Programming workshop for undergraduates.

About my Research:

CP violation is one of the three Sakharav Conditions that must be satisfied to produce an imbalance in matter and antimatter in the early Universe. Here lies the imperfection of the Standard Model which does not account for this asymmetry. This CP violation phenomenon can be well studied using the CKM matrix which predicts the existence of a third generation of quarks and had won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2008

The CKM matrix gives rise to a Unitarity triangle as below.

(Source : https://arxiv.org/abs/hep-ph/0304132 )

The measurement of parameters of the triangle gives us an idea of the amount of CP violation corresponding to a decay mode. My analysis aims to measure one of the angle called gamma of the triangle by analysing the decay of a b baryon particle from the proton-proton collisions at LHC.
