Bursary Application

General Information

Full and partial bursaries are available (over 30 in total). The allocation priority for bursaries are to PhD students and Early Career researchers to cover the costs of registration. We are willing to support other persons who can demonstrate a clear interest in the summer school, but have a clear financial difficulty preventing them attending. This includes other UK mathematicians / statisticians, and mathematicians working in countries in Africa or countries in which mathematics is in a similar position, or mathematicians working in the former Soviet Union. All awardees are expected to present a poster or a short talk.

If you wish to apply for a bursary, you need to (1) register and pay the registration fee and (2) fill in the following form. You will need to pay the registration fees of the summer school for your bursary application to be complete.
Note: applying for a bursary does not guarantee you will be offered one. If you are awarded a bursary, you will be refunded your registration fees (not the accommodation fees) after you have attended the conference.

If you have any questions please contact the organisers.

Please indicate what level of support you require to enable you to attend (for instance, registration fees), along with a short motivation as to how this Summer School would benefit your work. Please also state when you anticipate to complete your PhD if you are currently still a PhD student.

Note: Your bursary application is incomplete until you have completed the registration form.

By registering and paying to attend the conference, you are agreeing to our full terms and conditions. By applying for a bursary you are aware that you are not guaranteed to be e offered one.
