This one day conference is for anyone with an interest in Research Software Engineering (RSE) in the Midlands area. There will be a mixture of invited and contributed short talks, alongside discussion and panel sessions. Participants will gain an insight into the range of RSE activities taking place in the region and how this might relate to their own work as researchers/RSEs. There will also be plenty of opportunity for networking with people working as research software engineers, as well as users and developers/maintainers of research software and supporting infrastructure.
