About me

I am a second year student of the Warwick Centre for Doctoral Training in Mathematics and StatisticsLink opens in a new window working under the supervision of Dr Thomas BerrettLink opens in a new window on Nonparametric methods for Missing Data. My research interests include Nonparametric Statistics and Statistical Learning Theory.

Before joining the CDT programme in Warwick, I obtained a M.Sc. in Stochastics and Data Science at the University of Turin, working under the supervision of Professor Stefano FavaroLink opens in a new window, and a B.Sc. in Mathematics at the University of Turin, during which I was recipient of the INdAMLink opens in a new window scholarship.

Aside from academics, I used to play football professionally as a goalkeeper until I was 15, and I still enjoy doing so in a non-competitive way. Also, I am a huge Torino FCLink opens in a new window fan.

Teaching and other activities

In the a.y. 2023-24, I'm one of the organiser of the Stats Football sessions, which, in Term 2, take place every Tuesday at 5pm in the 5-a-side pitches of the sport centre. Use this linkLink opens in a new window to sign up. Also, I'm currently graduate teaching assistant for ST412-15/ST323-15 Multivariate Statistics and ST420-15 Statistical Learning and Big Data.Link opens in a new window

In the a.y. 2022-23, I used to organise the Empirical Process Theory Reading GroupLink opens in a new window, together with Alexander KentLink opens in a new window, and I was one of the tutors for ST219-12 Mathematical Statistics Part B.Link opens in a new window
