Wenwen Wang

I am a second-year PhD student in Statistics at the University of Warwick, as a member of ProbAI. My name is Wenwen Wang (王雯雯 in Chinese). I am interested in Bayesian nonparametric statistics, inference on stochastic processes, mathematical population genetics, measure-valued processes, and machine learning. I am working under the joint supervision of Prof. Paul Jenkins and Prof. Dario Spanò. Before starting my PhD journey, I completed the MSc in Statistics at the University of Warwick with distinction in 2024. My master's dissertation, titled "Comparison of the transformation method and the beta distribution with two spikes method for the Wright-Fisher diffusion model", was supervised by Prof. Paul Jenkins. I obtained the BSc in Financial Mathematics at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in 2023 with first-class honours.
