Combining the best of higher education and work-based learning.

We’ve developed programmes with our industry partners that deliver expert insights and engaging learning experiences, providing employees with an opportunity to work whilst gaining a qualification.

Developing knowledge, skills and behaviours.

Our Degree Apprenticeship Centre provides students with the environment needed to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours that employers want. Apprentices also work on live projects alongside industry experts in their organisation, and we’ve created the Centre as a dedicated space to deliver bespoke programmes that meet the demands and challenges of specific industry partners.

Purpose built.

The Degree Apprenticeship Centre encourages collaboration through open spaces and technology-enabled seminar rooms, whilst also facilitating technical activities through purpose-built laboratories for mechanical, electrical and thermal experiments.

-- Formal opening of the WMG Degree Apprenticeship Centre --

Gillian Keegan MP, the former Minister for Apprenticeships and Skills, formally opened the WMG Degree Apprenticeship Centre in June 2021. Gillian Keegan said: “It was such a privilege to open the WMG Degree Apprenticeship Centre at Warwick University. Apprenticeships are a brilliant way for people of any age to launch new careers or progress in their industry, with opportunities at a range of levels across a variety of exciting sectors. As a former apprentice myself I know first-hand the lifelong passion for learning an apprenticeship can instil. It was wonderful to speak to Beverley and Rishi and hear their passion for where their apprenticeship journey will take them. I look forward to seeing how the centre will support the leaders of tomorrow to get the skills they need to succeed.” Here is a selection of photos from the day, to read more about the event please see our news story.
