Ms Charlotte Lawrence

Biography

Charlotte Lawrence is a doctoral researcher in the Forensic Centre for Digital Scanning and 3D printing, WMG. She holds a BSc in Biological Anthropology and an MSc in Forensic Osteology and Field Recovery Methods, both from the University of Kent. Charlotte is a forensic anthropologist and osteoarchaeologist, and has worked on the excavation and analysis of fragmentary and commingled human skeletal remains. Thanks to funding from WMG and the West Midlands Police, her current research is investigating the use of micro computed tomography as a tool to analyse adult and paediatric bone trauma in active forensic cases. Charlotte’s research interests include skeletal pathology and trauma, post-mortem taphonomic processes, and the identification of human remains in DVI contexts.
