Biography

Ms Sofia Goia is a doctoral researcher at the University of Warwick within the Chemistry department, and she also works as a research assistant in 3D imaging for criminal forensics at WMG, University of Warwick, through which microcomputed tomography is used as a tool utilising X-rays to visualise and analyse bone tissue. Ms Goia holds an undergraduate degree in Analytical Chemistry and Forensic Science from Coventry University, and a Master’s degree in Analytical Sciences and Instrumentation from Warwick University. Some of the work undertaken throughout the doctoral degree has been published in international, peer-reviewed chemical sciences journals.
