Biography

Dr Charlotte (Charlie) Primeau is an Assistant Professor in Forensic Imaging within the Forensic Centre for Digital Scanning and 3D printing, WMG, University of Warwick. She is a forensic anthropologist and diagnostic radiographer. She has a BSc in Forensic Anthropology, a MSc in Human Identification both from the University of Dundee, a MSc in Diagnostic Radiography from Queen Margaret University and a PhD in Forensic Medicine and Anthropology from the University of Copenhagen. Charlotte has worked as a bioarchaeologist and anthropologist conducting osteological analysis of human remains of both modern and archaeological origin, using radiographic and CT imaging as well as SEM analysis. She has also worked on commingled and fragmentary human remains. Her research interests include growth, development, skeletal health, and understanding circumstances around the time of death and post-mortem treatment in modern as well as archaeological populations.
