The IMC Engineering Hall provides a striking backdrop for announcements, with space for a lectern, a small audience, and media coverage. We also have a bridge across the hall, offering a unique vantage point for filming.

For presentations and lectures, we offer two state-of-the-art lecture halls. IMC 004 seats 74 guests, while IMC 002 accommodates up to 198.

Both are fully equipped with lecterns, fixed PCs, AV control panels, laptop connectivity, data projectors, lapel microphones, and lecture capture. IMC 002 also features a document camera, whiteboard, and enhanced audio options, ensuring a seamless presentation experience.

Our research areas

The IMC is home to the Centre for Imaging, Metrology, and Additive Technologies (CiMAT), where we lead world-class research in inspection, measurement, and additive manufacturing. Our work spans various industries, from advancing forensic science to pioneering new methods in additive manufacturing, all with the goal of solving complex challenges and creating a tangible societal impact. Through advanced scanning techniques and X-ray Computed Tomography (XCT), we deliver precise measurements and quality assessments that span sectors such as healthcare and engineering. By applying cutting-edge technologies, we tackle real-world problems and deliver impactful, sustainable solutions.
