Aims and description :

Modern day manufacturing links together art, science, engineering and technology in order to create new, exciting and bespoke products. The session will explore how these links can be brought together through design, software and hardware engineering skills.

Students will explore the creation of a lamp controlled by an arduino micro processor, and how software can be developed to create light effects.

To run this workshop in school, a set of computers are needed with the workshop software installed.
