Stitch in Time Exhibition

Coventry Transport Museum 2024

These photos show the work done by 480 children from 7 Primary Schools in Coventry and Warwickshire for a Stitch in Time Exhibition, hosted by Coventry Transport Museum from August 2024 to December 2024.

A display that is made up from dream catchers. Each dream catcher is made up of a series of circles hanging from coloured twine with feathers and a button at the bottom.

Wembrook Primary School

a wall display made up of circles of felt in purple and blue with patterns stitched onto them in white thread. The theme for the display is space.

John Shelton Primary School

a display created from a set of hexagons all different colours nestled together with patterns stitched onto them. The theme for the display is Belonging

Templars Primary School

a display made up of different sizes of felt squares with stitched patterns on them. The words Resilience, Aspirations, Acceptance, Kindness, Understanding and Support are also displayed.

Aldermoor Farm Primary School

A display made up of colourful squares of felt mounted onto cardboard. On the felt are different patterns, some are square, others are circular.

Cannon Park Primary School.

A hanging display of coasters, each coaster has is made up of a circle of felt with a stitched pattern in the middle.

Longford Park Primary School

a display consisting of a number of different squares and rectangles of felt. Each felt square has a pattern stitched onto it.
