WMG Business Internship Programme

Are you a student, a graduate or a postgraduate interested in eight to twelve weeks of paid work experience?

As part of the WMG Internship Programme, you will be placed at a manufacturing company and supervised by a member of the WMG staff who are experts in their field. You will work with your supervisor and the company to investigate a real-world business challenge. This experience will help you gain a wide range of new skills, as well as putting the theory you have learnt in your degree into practice.

What projects will you carry out:

Supported by a WMG supervisor, you will work on a project defined by the company, applying your science and engineering knowledge to help them meet a challenge or exploit an opportunity. Typical projects include product development, materials testing, software and systems development, automation, electronics, and innovative business models.

How much will you get paid:

WMG Interns are paid £11.40 per hour (+£1.38 holiday pay). This is a competitive salary, above the national recommended living wage.

Who can apply:

Students, graduates, post graduates and PhDs who are:

- based in the UK

- eligible to work in the UK

- available to work 36.5 hours/week (full time)
