Illuminating Engineering

On Wednesday 5 August, Margaret Low, Principle Teaching Fellow, and Simon Leigh, Assistant Professor of Engineering, will host Illuminating Engineering. Youngsters aged 13-15 years will be using art, science, engineering and technology skills to create a bespoke interactive lamp with a personalised lamp shade using digital manufacturing tools.

Budding Entrepreneurs

Friday 14 August will see Mairi Macintyre, Principle Teaching Fellow present Budding Entrepreneurs for 16-18 year olds. In small groups, with set time scales and budgets, students will bring their ambitious ideas to life as they launch a totally new product.
