The Net Zero Supply Chain: what is it and how can I get involved?

What on earth is a net zero supply chain and how can you influence it?

Date: Wednesday 19th October 2022

Time: 3 pm

Format: Online Webinar (Zoom)

Overview:

“Optimising your supply chain for Net Zero increases efficiency, reduces costs and improves customer service. It builds your reputation among consumers who have rising expectations for sustainable business. And it wins support from investors who increasingly demand strong environmental, social and corporate governance” source PWC

Whether you’re wanting to win more business, reduce waste within your production line or simply deepen your understanding on Net Zero and manufacturing, this is the webinar for you.

There’s so much jargon surrounding sustainability that it can be hard to know where to start. WMG are here to keep it simple.

Join us at our next NZIN webinar where other SME manufacturing organisations will be sharing their experiences of how to impact different aspects of the supply chain, from reshoring to recycling.

Who should attend:

Any manufacturers in the UK wanting to know more about the Net Zero Supply Chain, both how to become eligible and how to create one.

What will participants gain?

  • A greater awareness of SMEs role in the journey to Net Zero
  • An understanding of the terminology, definitions, and expectations of what a Net Zero Supply Chain involves
  • Practical examples from similar businesses on what steps can be taken to become a part of, or create, a Net Zero Supply Chain
  • The opportunity to participate in our interactive break out rooms to share best practice and knowledge with likeminded organisations
  • A post-event copy of all presentations and a recording of the webinar
