WMG Powering Up Aerospace

Aerospace Battery Safety and Standards workshop

Monday 18th November 2019, 8:30am - 15:50

IIPSI, WMG, University of Warwick, CV4 7AL

Battery powered systems are a key element of a low emissions future. With battery capability increasing, it’s vital that we gain a deep understanding of battery safety at cell, module, pack and system level so that systems can be rolled out at scale. This is already a topic of extensive industrial and academic research in the electric vehicle sector and we wish to impart this knowledge to the aerospace sector. With the support of partners, WMG has developed this Battery Safety seminar to disseminate learning and bring insights from expert researchers, thought leaders and practitioners in the field.
