    Biography

Antony is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the IMechE and IET. Since 2001 he has worked in automotive low-carbon powertrain research and development. He has significant industry experience working at Jaguar Cars and Zytek Automotive, specialising in vehicle control systems and hardware-in-the-loop simulation. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has studied and worked in STEM education at various levels from secondary and further through to higher education. Antony earned his PhD in automotive control systems and simulation at the University of Nottingham in 2006.

At Warwick, Antony is an education specialist. Since 2019 he has led the Energy and Propulsion Education team which delivers a number of post-graduate courses, industry courses, and modules on a wide range of Warwick engineering programmes.

Antony has supervised a number of doctoral, masters and undergraduate project students, and is active on committees and steering groups both within and outside the university. Antony is author and co-author of a number of internationally published papers on both automotive engineering and STEM education topics.
