WMG Excellence Scholarships

WMG will be awarding over £1 million in scholarships and bursaries to students commencing study on full-time MSc programmes taught within the WMG department at Warwick, beginning in September 2027.

WMG Excellence Scholarships are merit-based awards, based on academic achievement and relevant professional experience. With a large student intake of over 1000 student across our MSc portfolio, the scholarship scheme is designed to support excellence and diversity of perspective which will enrich the learning environment.

Candidates will be considered at the point of application and awards will be made alongside or shortly after the course offer. No separate application is required.

We have a range of award levels including £5,000, £8,000, £10,000 and £15,000 tuition fees awards for International fee paying students.

Eligibility and Conditions

Applicants must hold an offer to study on a WMG full-time MSc course starting September 2027
Awards are made towards international tuition fees only
Candidates with an excellent academic track-record and/or strong professional profile qualify for consideration.
For conditional offer-holders, scholarship awards will also be conditional on achieving the awardee's final predicted grade.
WMG Excellence Scholarships are for self-funded students only. NB: students with partial bursaries, on scholarship-loan schemes or partially funded by an external organisation may also be considered. Awardees should inform the scholarship committee if they are in receipt of another scholarship or are later awarded other funding.
WMG scholarships and awards are for study on Warwick campus-based full-time MSc programmes only.
WMG scholarships and awards are paid towards tuition fees only and cannot be paid in cash or towards accommodation or maintenance costs.
WMG scholarships and awards are used across the WMG MSc portfolio to optimise nationality and gender diversity.
WMG scholarships and awards will be reflected your CAS for visa application purposes.
