Leadership
Warwick Leadership Group
The Warwick Leadership Group is a specialist unit focusing on research and postgraduate teaching, working in 
partnership with major national, regional and local bodies, and with schools and colleges.
The major focus for the Leadership group has been on aspects of school leadership and school improvement. Further research work is being developed with Further and Higher Education. The Leadership group have a number of existing small scale funding awards from the British Educational Leadership and Administration Society:
• Comparative analysis of teachers working conditions
• Leadership Development for College Principals
Further development work is under way, for example:
• British Academy small grant bid “Developing leadership within a school led system: the lead practitioner experience”.
• A bid to the Education Endowment Fund to develop a project to increase research use in schools.
• Area school improvement (Birmingham LA).
