Introduction- Jordan

The toolkit aims to provide you with the skills required for you to successfully search and apply for a job online. It focuses on equipping you with digital skills specifically for jobs.

The toolkit is made up of two parts:

Foundation I

If you are someone who is new to online job search and application or need a refresher on how it is done. You should start here.

The Foundation I section will include the following modules to equip you with the foundations needed to start your online job search and application:

 

Module 1 - Basic tools and software needed for online job search and application

Module 2 - Access online forms or portals to assist in your job search and application

Module 3 - Writing CV & Cover letter—including templates – UK

Foundation II

If you already know the basics for online job search and application (including those who completed the Foundation I section) this section will dive into the more detailed training on how to increase your chances for successful online job search and application.

The Foundation II section will include the following modules:

 

Module 4 - Online job search

Module 5 - Creating accounts and profiles on recruitment platforms

Module 6 - Privacy and safety online

Module 7 - How to assess reliability of job posts

Module 8 - Customization of CVs, Cover letters, Job applications and Emails when applying for a specific job

Module 9 - Using AI - Generative AI for job applications

Module 10 - Submitting, organising and tracking job applications

Each modules is made up of three main elements:

1) Main text and picture content: This is usually the content of the of the module including pictures and screenshots.

2) Interactive element mostly Flip cards: This is usually a small teaching exercise for you to do and learn a bit about important topics to be discussed in the module.

3) Videos: These are usually videos to demonstrate how to do what we learnt in the module.

You have two options to move from one module to another:

- Option 1: Go to the menu bar at the top, click the toolkit you are using and then click the module that you want from the menu that appears.

- Option 2: Click the Next button at the end of each Module.
