Having a professional profile on the recruitment and job websites and platforms is very useful and provides you with many benefits. This module will focus on:
As mentioned in Module 4 having a profile on the recruitment and job websites and portals are very useful when searching for jobs, as it provide you with access to additional features that people who do not have an account cannot use.
This module will discuss how to create accounts and profiles on these sites, and will use two well-know sites for jobs, as examples: Bayt and LinkedIn.
🧰 Additional features and benefits of a profile on these recruitment and job websites
An online profile on the recruitment and job platforms would allow you to:
1- Save your details: Saving your details would allow you use them when you needed to apply for a job, instead of having to type them every time you want to apply for a job.
2- Quickly apply for jobs with one or two clicks: Some of these websites have the option of allowing you to apply directly from the job portals or recruitment websites using your profile, instead of just redirecting you to the website of the organisation posting the job where you have to fill all your information again into the job application form there.
3- Specify the jobs you are interested in: A profile on these websites allow you to define and specify the types of jobs you are interested in.
4- Enable recruiters to find your profile: Recruiters will be able to find your profile and could then potentially contact you for a specific job that they think you might be a good fit for, sometimes before you apply for the job.
5- Get regular updates on what jobs are available:A profile on these websites would allow you to receive regular updates straight to your email on the jobs you are interested in and let you know what jobs are available, without you having to search for them.
