Dr Andreas Kokkinis interviewed on the proposed draft withdrawal agreement

On Monday 19 November, Warwick Law’s Dr Andreas Kokkinis was interviewed by Russia Today (RT) on the proposed draft Withdrawal agreement. The interview focused on the criticism PM Theresa May has faced on the current Brexit deal and how some members of parliament are arguing that a new deal should be proposed before the March deadline.

Publication Success for Current PhD

Congratulations to our current PhD student and GLOBE Centre administrator Julie Mansuy on her recent publication. Julie is second author on a co-publication with our former colleague Tomaso Ferrando on ‘The European Action against Food Loss and Waste: Co-Regulation and Collisions on the Way to the Sustainable Development Goals’ which was published on the 6 November 2018 in the Yearbook of European Law.

Recent LLM student lands competitive traineeship

LLM student Elina Rage who recently completed her studies in International Economic Law (IEL) here at Warwick, has just secured a traineeship with the European Union Delegation to Vietnam in the Trade and Economics section, starting in October. Law Alumni Inspire Current Students

RBS Double: Two recruits from the Warwick LLM

Two of our current LLM students have secured positions with the Royal Bank of Scotland, in their money laundering division. Climbing the ladder: Warwick Alumnus makes Partner

Former Warwick LLM student, Varun Lamba has been promoted to Partner at his Law firm in India. Following completion of his LLM in International Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation here at Warwick in 2009, Varun went on to join AZB & Partners as an Associate. He was later promoted to Senior Associate in 2015 and is now a Partner.

An interview with genocide prosecutor & alumnus Charles Adeogun-Phillips

After the Rwandan genocide saw the murder of up to one million people, prosecutor Charles Adeogun-Phillips was tasked with delivering justice to the victims. Current LLM student lands dream job
