WLS Welcomes 2024 PG Scholarship Holders
Warwick Law School would like to wish a warm welcome to our new postgraduate scholarship holders. Having beat out strong competition to win their awards, they have now started their LLM studies and are settling into life at Warwick.

Alumnus recommended as Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court

Warwick Law School alumnus, Justice Sambhaji Shiwaji Shinde who studied on our LLM has been recommended as the next Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court.
Lacuna publishes LLM student's competition winning story
'Window-dressing' in the COVID-19 pandemic: The troubling story behind the rainbows in the windows has been published in our Lacuna Magazine. The author, Amanda Kowalczyk, who is currently studying part-time on our LLM in Advanced Legal Studies, won Lacuna's 2021 Warwick Law School Writing Competition for her story about the impact of the Covid lockdown on children.
Alumni Spotlight: Laura Walker McDonald
Laura, who studied on our LLM in International Development Law and Human Rights back in 2006, has dedicated her career to helping others through her work in humanitarian and international aid. Now working for the International Committee of the Red Cross, Laura looks at how technology can have both a positive and negative impact on wellbeing across the globe.

Alumna Featured in Study UK Magazine
Nudrat Hussain Khan, a World Bank Scholar who studied on our LLM in International Economic Law from 2007-2008, was selected by the British Council to share her experience of studying at Warwick Law School and the adversity she faced to get here. Her inspiring story was featured in the March 2020 issue of their Study UK Magazine. Here she provides a condensed version for the Law School. Student Article: Who should pay up for Climate Carnage?
Current PhD student Harpreet Kaur Paul's article on 'Who should pay up for Climate Carnage?' has been featured in Novara Media this month.
Harpreet is also co-founder of Tipping Point UK, a movement which aims to help people from all communities and backgrounds use their power to take bold and regular action in order to win climate justice.

Dr Celine Tan Celebrates 20 years as a Warwick Alumna
This academic year, Dr Celine Tan celebrates 20 years since she enrolled on our LLM programme at Warwick Law School. She is now Director of Postgraduate Studies overseeing the LLM she remembers so fondly and working alongside her previous lecturers and professional services staff.
