Professor Lawrence Young, molecular biologist at the University of Warwick, told the Daily Mail: “The study confirms that the virus was circulating before the major outbreak in Wuhan was discovered in December 2019. It also shows how inadequate the WHO research is, which is suffering from a lack of access to important data. It is particularly worrying that important data has been uploaded and deleted - that is very strange behaviour."
