University of Warwick partnership with University College Birmingham set to open up opportunities for young people and strengthen economic recovery
The University of Warwick and University College Birmingham have announced today, Thursday 8th July 2021, a new partnership that will provide more opportunities for young people and strengthen the post pandemic economic recovery of the West Midlands.
The stories of 18th century Caribbean uprisings and Black prisoners held in an English castle will be told a new play by the National Theatre, created as part of a project involving the University of Warwick.
A showcase of work by Coventry artists, funded by the city’s universities and produced during lockdown, will launch online next week (Monday 5 October).
UK-Australia education and research opportunities expand — Warwick Monash Alliance enters rolling agreement
The Monash Warwick Alliance — which pioneered a new model for global higher education partnerships when established in 2012— is entering a bold new era, as the two universities sign a rolling agreement with no end date, enabling more deeply embedded collaboration and wider transnational opportunities for students and staff.
More than 500 people took part in the workshops, talks and activities organised by the University of Warwick for this year’s ESRC Festival of Social Science. University researchers took to Coventry and Warwickshire’s streets, bars and community centres to share insights from their work with enthusiastic and interested audiences. The events tackled topics from the nature of time itself and the puzzle of DNA to taxes and accents.
