University of Warwick named as one of the UK’s Top 10 Universities by The Guardian

The University of Warwick has been ranked 9th in the Guardian University Guide 2024.

The Guardian Guide has ranked over 120 universities across the UK, taking into account different factors including student satisfaction, entry standards, student-staff-ratios, continuation, expenditure per student, teaching quality and career prospects.

14 subjects at Warwick were ranked in the top ten nationally. These were:

  • Media and Film Studies (1st)
  • Accounting and Finance (2nd)
  • History of Art, and Business and Management (4th)
  • English (5th)
  • International Relations (6th)
  • Politics (7th)
  • Economics, History, Mathematics, and Physics (8th)
  • Classics and Ancient History (9th)
  • Languages and Linguistics and Law (10th)

Warwick has also recently been ranked in the top ten universities nationally by the respected QS rankings, which placed the university in the top five per cent globally.

Within the rankings, Warwick ranked highly within the Russell Group for student teaching satisfaction, student continuation and student career outcomes.
